New Cath Labs Open

This new system is specifically designed to integrate all of the advanced tools necessary to perform electrical cardiac intervention without the subsequent clutter and environmental issues. The sleek design allows the patient a greater level of comfort, and ultimately leads to a reduction in overall procedure time.

One of the most impressive parts of the system is the 56 inch high-definition monitor that has 4 times more clarity than the HD television in your living room. This extreme field of view allows the physician to manipulate and zoom images without compromising the sharpness of the image. The XL screen also allows the physician to view image information from up to 16 data sources.

Dr. Greenberg christened one of the new cath labs when he performed a diagnostic catheterization procedure using the hospital's new Philips system.

In all, The Medical Center of Aurora Main Campus has three cath labs. We perform the highest volume of cath lab procedures in the Denver metro area.
