Nutrition Care Manual

Did you know that The Medical Center of Aurora has a web based diet manual?  This subscription is a publication of the American Dietetic Association.  It is the source for research based nutrition information and clinical tools.  This publication meets the Joint Commission’s Hospital Accreditation Standards, and is the preferred diet manual by the Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program.

The Nutrition Care Manual is available to all healthcare providers.  To access the manual:

1. Go to the HealthONE Intranet (on TMCA Connect—the Fish)
2. Select Aurora (at top right on page)
3. Click on Web Links (on left hand column)
4. Click on Nutrition Resources
5. Click on Nutrition Care Manual (see screenshot below)
6. Click on Client Education (red circle)
7. You will use the categorized list on the left to select your education

Educational materials are available to print out for patients.  These easy to read instruction sheets are in English and Spanish versions.
