Basic Peri-Operative Training

The Medical Center of Aurora/Centennial Medical Plaza offers a 14-week course designed for the new graduate or experienced RNs looking for a challenging and rewarding career as a perioperative nurse.

Students learn new technical skills unique to the operating room environment through a focus on independent assessments, planning and use of critical thinking skills. Small class size and individualized attention ensure success in your new career.

Program components include six weeks didactic and eight weeks clinical rotation.
