This class helps prepare expectant parents, first-time grandparents and caregivers for safety and emergency situations involving infants and small children.
Topics include:
- Car seat installation
- Difficulty breathing and choking
- CPT for infant and child
- Seizures
- Dehydration
- Sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS)
- Baby proofing your home
- Selecting and using safety equipment
- Responding to burns, cuts, bruises, head injuries, high fevers and more
Baby Safe class is six hours and costs $45 per person/couple; this includes a First Aid book.
