A registered dietitian or a certified diabetes educator teaches our two-hour Gestational Diabetes class, which covers:

  • Proper weight gain
  • Self monitoring blood glucose (SMBG)
  • Controlling your blood glucose with medications
  • Diet principles
  • Gestational diabetes after delivery

  • An example of a breakfast and a bedtime snack
  • Self-monitoring blood glucose levels

With a physician's referral, we can schedule individual appointments for patients who:

  • Need follow up
  • Need one-on-one education
  • Are unable to attend the class
