The Medical Center of Aurora has a special medical stabilization program called New Vision.  The program aims to help those who suffer from alcohol and drug dependency.

The service begins with a medically supervised hospital stay, which typically lasts three days. This is a safe, confidential environment where patients' fundamental needs are met. Prior to leaving the hospital, patients are referred to appropriate community-based programs that can help them resume and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
