Pharmacy Practice / Staffing
- Become proficient in the computer system used for order entry
- Staff every 3rd weekend (two 10 hour shifts)
Ambulatory Care
- Attend ambulatory clinic one afternoon a week
- Assist with warfarin dosing
- Counsel patients on medication usage
- Obtain medication history
- Provide drug information to physicians, PA and nurses
Clinical Project
- Develop research question / study
- Collect data
- Implement project
- Statistical analysis
- Poster presentation at ASHP Mid-Year
- Presentation at Western States Conference & TMCA
- Develop manuscript of project results
